PENTECH APPOINTS RONALD L. WAGNER TO HEAD FUNDING SERVICES DIVISION

Campbell, CA – January 22, 2004

Pentech Financial Services, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Ronald L. Wagner as Vice President and General Manager of Pentech Funding Services, a newly formed division of Pentech.  Wagner joins the company with an extensive history in the leasing industry.  He was a Senior Vice President responsible for lease operations at Eldorado Bank and Imperial Business Credit, Inc.  He will head the division at the company’s new offices in San Diego, CA.

Millerbis, Pentech’s President and CEO.  “I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with Ron for a long time.  We are both past presidents and board members of the United Association of Equipment Leasing (UAEL) and he is just the right person to head our new division.”

Prior to Imperial, Wagner's leasing career included ten years as President of Heritage Leasing Capital, an independent lessor specializing in middle market transactions on a lessee-direct basis.  The firm was sold to Imperial Business Credit in 1995.  He was also in senior management of the original Heritage Leasing Corporation. 

Wagner holds a B. A. in Business Administration from the University of Kansas, an MBA from the University of Missouri, and was designated a Certified Lease Professional (CLP) in 1987.
