PENTECH NAMES RICK RIDDER AS CORPORATE CONTROLLER

Campbell, CA – January 22, 2007

Pentech Financial Services, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Rick Ridder as Corporate Controller.  Ridder joins Pentech after serving as Controller for a pre-IPO telecommunications company. He will assume his responsibilities immediately at the company’s corporate headquarters in Campbell, CA.

Ridder has over twenty years experience in the newspaper business, including 10 years in finance.  He served as Director of Finance for the San Jose Mercury News. 

While attending the University of Santa Clara, Ridder earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Master of Business Administration degrees.
